We’re Proud to Welcome 90.5 The Night as a Sponsor

There are some organizations that do more than simply serve a community—they help define it. For us, 90.5 The Night, Brookdale Public Radio, is one of those organizations.

We’re incredibly excited and grateful to welcome 90.5 The Night as a sponsor of ROCKTOBERFEAST, and we couldn’t think of a better community partner to have alongside us.

For decades, Brookdale Public Radio has helped connect listeners across the Jersey Shore with music, local stories, community organizations, and the artists who make our region such a special place to live. Their support of our event is another example of the important role 90.5 The Night plays in bringing people together through music and community.

More Than a Radio Station

At its heart, 90.5 The Night is about connection.

As Brookdale Public Radio, the station provides listeners with a distinctive mix of music while also keeping its focus firmly on the communities it serves. Its programming includes local news, weather, community information, music discovery, interviews, and conversations with the people and organizations making an impact throughout the Jersey Shore.

The station's website even features Non Profits on The Night,” dedicated spotlight on local nonprofit organizations. Brookdale Public Radio explains that it believes it is important for people to know about local nonprofits throughout the Jersey Shore

That commitment to community is exactly the kind of mission we value.

Putting Local Artists in the Spotlight

One of the things we love most about 90.5 The Night is its commitment to music discovery and the creative community.

The station's programming goes well beyond the biggest names in music. Its shows and interviews create opportunities for listeners to discover new artists, hear from musicians, and stay connected to the incredible music scene that exists right here in New Jersey.

That local connection can be heard throughout the station's programming. For example, its Box of Blues program features blues ranging from local to legendary, while the station's interview archive regularly brings musicians, artists, community leaders, and event organizers into the conversation.

90.5 The Night has also been directly involved in presenting and promoting live music throughout the region. Its past community calendar includes Songwriters on the Beach, a free summer concert series in Bradley Beach featuring weekly, family-friendly live performances. Brookdale Public Radio produced the series, helping bring live music and audiences together along the Jersey Shore. More recently, the station has continued those connections by highlighting regional music and arts organizations through interviews and event coverage, including conversations surrounding the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Festival.

That kind of support matters.

Local artists need audiences. Community events need people to show up. Nonprofits need partners who believe in their missions. And communities thrive when those pieces come together.

A Radio Station That Shows Up for Its Community

What makes this sponsorship especially meaningful to us is that 90.5 The Night doesn't simply talk about the community—it actively participates in it.

From nonprofit spotlights and community events to local news and conversations with people doing meaningful work throughout Monmouth, Ocean, and the broader Jersey Shore region, Brookdale Public Radio provides a platform for the people and organizations that make our area unique.

The station's community calendar is another example of that commitment, providing a place for local organizations to share concerts, fundraisers, arts events, community gatherings, and other happenings.

The result is something bigger than radio. It's a way of helping people discover what's happening around them—and encouraging them to participate.

We’re Lucky to Have 90.5 The Night as a Sponsor

For our organization, having 90.5 The Night and Brookdale Public Radio as a sponsor of ROCKTOBERFEAST is about more than putting a logo on a website or event banner.

It's about partnering with an organization whose values align so closely with our own.

We believe in bringing people together. We believe in supporting the arts. We believe local voices deserve to be heard. And we believe that when nonprofits, artists, businesses, media organizations, and community members work together, we can create something that has a lasting impact.

That's why we're especially grateful to have 90.5 The Night in our corner.

Their support helps us bring ROCKTOBERFEAST to the community—and we're excited for everyone who attends to experience the same spirit of connection, creativity, and community that makes the Jersey Shore such a wonderful place to be.
